AMPTO Supports Safe and Easy Installation
To simplify the installation process and ensure safe assembly, AMPTO includes a specially designed wheel installation tool with selected Mecnosud spiral mixer models sold in the United States market.
Models equipped with this installation tool include:
- TS44MD
- PK44DUS
- PK44ADUS
The tool is specifically designed to help operators securely install and tighten the wheel assemblies while reducing the risk of improper mounting. This allows for a safer and more efficient installation procedure while ensuring that the wheels are correctly locked into position.
By using the supplied installation tool and following the wheel assembly instructions, operators can quickly achieve the required machine elevation and maintain the proper airflow necessary for motor cooling
Why the Mixer Must Remain Elevated from the Floor
One of the most important reasons for installing the wheel kit correctly is that the machine must remain elevated from the floor at all times.
This is not simply a mobility feature. It is a critical operational requirement.
The motor ventilation system is designed to draw cooling air through the lower section of the mixer. Adequate clearance underneath the machine is therefore essential for maintaining proper airflow and preventing excessive heat buildup.
IMPORTANT SAFETY NOTICE
🔴 Never operate the mixer without the properly installed wheel kit.
🔴 Never place the mixer directly on the floor.
🔴 Never obstruct the air circulation beneath the machine.
Blocking the airflow underneath the mixer may result in:
- Reduced motor cooling efficiency
- Increased operating temperatures
- Premature wear of electrical and mechanical components
- Reduced equipment lifespan
- Potential overheating and unexpected downtime

AMPTO Recommendation
AMPTO strongly recommends that all Mecnosud spiral mixers be installed exactly as specified by the manufacturer. The supplied wheel kit and installation tool are integral components of the machine design and contribute directly to operator safety, motor protection, and long-term equipment reliability.
A properly elevated mixer ensures unrestricted airflow, improved cooling performance, and maximum service life of the machine.
Correct wheel installation is not optional. It is an essential part of the equipment installation process.
