To cure your oven's stones, this requires time and heat.
- Set your oven to 392°F (200°C) and allow the oven to reach the temperature.
- Once the chamber reaches this temperature designated, raise the temperature by 140°F (60°C)
- After 20-30 minutes, raise the temperature by 140°F (60°C).
- Repeat this until your oven's maximum temperature is reached.
- Once the oven has stayed at maximum temperature for 20-30 minutes, you may turn off the oven.
You will see smoke and it may smell - this is normal. You may want to ventilate this area.
After completing this exercise, your stones are cured and ready to create!
