How to Prepare and Tie a Chicken Before Loading it onto a Metal Supreme Rotisserie Oven.

If you would like to prepare a delicious and juicy rotisserie chicken using a Metal Supreme Rotisserie oven, you need to first know how to truss the chicken with elastic ties.

Here are some easy steps to follow:

1. Rinse the chicken and pat it dry with paper towels. Season it with salt, pepper, herbs, and spices of your choice. You can also rub some butter or oil under the skin for extra flavor and crispiness.

  1. Tie the legs together with one elastic tie, making sure it is tight enough to keep them close to the body. This will help the chicken cook evenly and prevent the legs from burning.

  2. Tuck the wings behind the back of the chicken and secure them with another elastic tie. This will also prevent them from drying out and make the chicken more compact for the rotisserie.

  3. Insert the spit rod through the center cavity of the chicken, making sure it is centered and balanced. You can use a fork or a skewer to pierce the skin and secure the chicken to the rod.

  4. Place the spit rod on the rotisserie oven and turn it on. Set the temperature and timer according to your oven's instructions. You can also baste the chicken with some juices or sauce halfway through the cooking process for more moisture and flavor.

  5. Enjoy your homemade rotisserie chicken with your favorite sides and sauces. Don't forget to remove the elastic ties before carving and serving.

Bon Appetit!
